Robert Anthony Plant is one of the best singers of the rock's history, characterized by his golden curls,and famous by his shouts and because he was the singer of the most interesting legend of the rock: Led Zeppelin.

He was born on August 20, 1948 in West Bromwich, Staffordshire, England. He started to sing in 1951, with only 13 years old, he formed his band with John Bonham (drummer of Led Zeppelin) and for 15 years he sang in 3 blues' bands named Robert Plant Kingsnake Blues Band, Black Snake Moan and The Delta Blues Band. In 1966 he created Listen and the following year, The Band of Joy, two blues bands more serious but without success.
In 1969, he was playing with the John Bonham' cousin's rock band, while Jimmy Page (guitarist of Led Zeppelin) was seeing that concert. After this day, Robert Plant was invited by Jimmy to created a rock band and Plant proposes John Bonham as drummer, and Jimmy called John Paul Jones in the bass and in the keyboard in the band.
Led Zeppelin was formed, and the magic of the rock, started.

In 1969 he began to have serious problems with the drugs, which influenced him in his voice. In 1974 Zeppelin finished his fourth disc, with the difference that does not have title, in this CD appears Black Dog, Stairway To Heaven and Rock and roll, where Plant's voice the protagonist. This Disc, people names Led Zeppelin 4 or Four Symbols, because each member created a symbol for himself.

In 1975 he had a car accident where almost he dies, he recovered 2 years later, so, from 1975 up to 1977 Led Zeppelin did not play in concerts. And the recording of "Presence" , Plant did it in wheelchair. In 1977 happened the tragedy who changed his life, the death of his 8 years old son, Karac. They continued playing but not for a long time because in 1980 John Bonham died drowned in his vomit in the castle of Jimmy Page . It was the end of Led Zeppelin
In 1981 he played with Robbie Blunt for one year in Honneydrippers, and in 1982 started his solo career with his first and successful solo cd named Pictures at Eleven. This years he separated and get divorced of his wife. He has 14 solo discs, and he had played with great musicians like Jeff Beck, Phil Collins, Jimmy Page, John Paul Jones, etc playing different styles of music. Actually he is playing with "Strange Sensation" and in 2007 they recorded an excellent cd and dvd playing his music and from Led Zeppelin too.
It is necessary to stand out that in 1994 he formed with Jimmy Page a rock band called No Quarter as a song of Led Zeppelin to play music of Led Zep changing the style, they recorded a very interesting DVD where they play in Mtv Studios, in a mountain, in a river, and in India.

2007, The return of Led Zeppelin for only one day with Jason Bonham (John Bonham' s son) in the drum. Only 20.000 could go to the concert. Plant in Zeppelin again but this time with 59 years old, he returned to shine with his untouchable hair and shouts as the old times. Now Plant has recorded a CD with Alisson Krauss and continues his solo career.
