Madonna was born on the 16 of August 1958 in Michigan, her full name is Madonna Louise Veronica Ciccone Ritchie. She is an American pop singer, record producer and actress. Madonna won a dance scholarship to Michigan University, but she dropped it out and in 1977 she moved to New York with dreams of becoming a ballet dancer, but she hadn’t had any money so some days she had to slept in the streets and then she started to take modelling jobs. In 1979, she became part of the Patrick Hernandez Revue, a disco outfit that had the hit "Born to Be Alive”. She travelled to Paris, and there she met Dan Gilroy, who would soon become her boyfriend. When they were back in New York, they formed a band called The breakfast club. Soon, Bray and Madonna broke off from the group and began working on some dance/disco-oriented tracks.
After "The Breakfast Club", she had some more groups before her first CD which was called Madonna (1983), Her second CD was called "Like a Virgin", at the end of 1984, the title track hit number one in December, staying at the top of the charts for six weeks, with this she became an international celebrity, she sold millions of CDs and she did her first tour around the world.
In 1985 she appeared in Desperately Seeking Susan. The film introduced the song "Into the Groove", which became her first number one single in the UK.
In 1987, Madonna starred in "Who's that Girl", and contributed four songs to its soundtrack; including the title track and the U.S. number two single, "Causing a Commotion".In the same year, she embarked on the Who's that girl Tour. Madonna had a lot of problems with the Vatican, one of this happened in 1989, when she did a commercial for Pepsi, in this she sang "Like a Prayer" and also made a music video for it. The video, which features many Catholic symbols such as stigmata and burning crosses, was condemned by the Vatican.
In 1990, Madonna starred as "Breathless" Mahoney in a film adaptation of the comic book series Dick Tracy. To accompany the launching of the film in May 1990, she released I'm Breathless that includes songs inspired by the film's 1930s setting.
In 1992 Madonna made her own company: Maverick, it's a record company and a film production company, and also music publishing.
This year appeared the last CD of Madonna: Hard Candy, in this one she sung with Justing Timberlake in "4 minutes t save the world" and it becames very popular.

Personal Life
Her first boyfriend was Dan Gilroy with whom she formed the band Breakfast Club. While filming the music video for "Material Girl" in 1985, Madonna dated actor Sean Penn and married him later that year, but she divorced in September of 1989. In late 1990, Madonna dated Tony Ward, a bisexual model and porn star who starred in her music videos for "Cherish" (1989) and "Justify My Love" (1990). Their relationship ended by early 1991, and Madonna began an eight-month relationship with rapper Vanilla Ice, who appeared in her Sex book. Madonna dated basketball player Dennis Rodman. In 1994 she met, in the Central Park, Carlos Leon a fitness trainer, he become her trainer and her lover, with him, Guy Ritchie, Madonna's housbanshe had a daughter in 1996: Lourdes Leon, but then she divorced again.
Madonna became involved with Guy Ritchie, whom she had met in 1999 through mutual friends, and they married some years later in Scotland, with him, she had another children: Rocco Ritchie. She also adopted a boy of Malawi this year on May.

Madonna is in her middle aged, she is tall and slim, she has short, blond and wavy hear. She' round face, thin eyebrows, big and blue eyes and small nose.

In three words, I LOVE MADONNA.
I love all her albums because , they're all excelent tracks and the hava lyrics easy to remember.
My favorite songs are La isla Bonita, and Material Girl.
Last Sunday I saw the Confessions Tour DVD of Madonna, I suggest it to all who loves madonna! Excelent concert!

What do you think of Madonna's decision not to take advantage of her dance scholarship, Pau? She's certainly proved she's a talented dancer by now, but... wasn't that rather risky? Under similar circumnstances, would you advise a friend to do the same?
