Biography
Diego Armando Maradona has been the greatest football player ever. He was born on october 30,1960 in Villa Fiorito, Lanus, Buenos Aires. He is a former Argentine soccer player nicknamed "El Diego" and "Pelusa".
Maradona has won many tournaments with argentina and as some of the clubs in which he played.
These successes were often overshadowed by his addiction to drugs.
He was the manager of Racing Club and Mandiyu in 1995.
He was married wiht Claudia ande he has two daughters, Dalma and Gianina. He has got a tatoo of them on his arms.

Club career
His first football match was at the age of 15 with Argentinos. He played there for five years.
In 1981 he went to play for Boca Juniors where he won an Argentine tournament. Then he started his carrer in the European football. In 1982 he played in F.C. Barcelona where he won three Spanish championships in two years.
In 1984 he wento to play for Napoli. He played there for seven years and he won four Italian championships and a UEFA Cup. Napoli´s fans love Maradona. However he was given in a positive doping control for the first time in his career.
In 1992 he played again in the Spanish football in Sevilla F.C.
In 1993 he returned to Argentine Footbal to played in Newell`s and a year later he returned to Boca Juniors when he retired from football in 1997.

National team career
His first match wiht the Argentina national footbal team was at the age of 16.
In his long carrer with the national team he played four World Cup.
He won the FIFA Word Cup Mexico 1986. In this tournament he scored two legendary goals to England. The first goal was called "Hand of God" and the second goal was the greatest goal in the history of the World Cup
In the FIFA World Cup Italia 1990 he played the final losing against Germany.
In the FIFA World Cup Usa 1994 he was given in a positive doping control again and he could not play again with Argentina.
He played 91 matchs scoring 34 goals with the national team.

Physical description
When he was young, in his twenties and thirties he was slim and short with a curly black hair.
But a few years ago he was extremely fat because his adiction to drugs.
