Billie Joe Armstrong
Billie Joe Armstrong is the lead vocalist and guitarist of Green Day. Also a guitarist and vocalist of Foxboro Hot Tubs, the other band that he has. And it said that he is the vocalist of The Networks too.
Billie´s Life
Billie Joe Armstrong was born on february 17th in Rodeo, California.
He started singing when he was just 5 years old and recored his first song “Look for Love”. When he was 11 he got his first elecric guitar and called it Blue, and he still uses it (you can see it in the Basket Case´s video).
In 1982 when he was 10 years old his father, Andy, died of cancer and his mother, Ollie, continued working in Rod´s Hicory Pick to support herself and her six kids.
Also, in that year, Billie met Mike Dirnt at school, and during sleepovers at each other houses, they play song like old heavy metal.
In 1984 his mother remarried to a man who Billie and his siblings detested, and because of that, in 1986 he wrote his first song “Why do you want him” about his mother and his step father.
In 1990, Billie met his future wife Adrienne Neseer in Mineapolis. He wrote the song “2000 light years away” about her, because 2000 miles is the distance from California to Mineapolis, but for him it was more than 2000 miles.
They married on July 2nd in 1994 in five minutes ceremony. The following day Adrienne discovered that she was pregnant. Their first son was born on February 28th in 1995 and he was called Joseph Marciano. And their second son, Jacob Danger, was born on September 12th in 1998
In 1995 in an interview with The Advocate he said that he identified himself as bisexual saing:"I think I've always been bisexual. I mean, it's something that I've always been interested in. I think people are born bisexual, and it's just that our parents and society kind of veer us off into this feeling of 'Oh, I can't.' They say it's taboo. It's ingrained in our heads that it's bad, when it's not bad at all. It's a very beautiful thing."
Billie briefly went vegetarian but after he saw he was weight loss he began eating meat again.
Now Billie, Adrienne and their sons live in Oakland, California.
Appearance
Billie Joe is medium-height, he has an oval fave with big green eyes and a small nose. He's black wavy hair.

In 1987 Billie Joe formed a punk band with Mike and John called "Sweet Children", so Billie drop out of school an day before his 18th bithday to devote all his time to the band.Sweet Children was renamed Green Day in 1989 and they had a new drummer in 1990 called Tré Cool, because Al sobrante want to go to college. It happened just before they took out his record 1,039/ Smoothed Out Slappy Hours. So Tré Cool debut on Green Day in the second album called Kerplunk! In Then in 1990 come Dookie, and with this album they became one of the most popular rock band of those times, also they sold over 60 millon records in all over the world.

Devotion to Billie Joe
I really like Billie Joe because he´s a very good singer, composer and person. His lyrics mean a lot to me,. Also, I like punk rock and Billie in Green Day is a vocalist of that kind of music. I don´t care what people think of him, he always means a lot to me.
I Know he´s a very good person for his actions, and if someone reads his songs and understand between lines what he want to say everybody can understand, unless the person has no feelings.
